Why organic?
One of the main benefits of going organic is that crops are not treated with pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and Genetically Modified Organisms GMOs.
These toxins are harmful for farmers and cotton pickers as well as us, the consumers. The toxins also have a negative effect to entire wildlife eco-systems. Using organic cotton is healthier for you as you avoid exposure to pesticides and other potentially toxic materials.
Additionally, by going organic you will also be enabling farmers and pickers of organic cotton, many of whom are women,
to be self-sufficient and financially independent.
How are Etica pads good for vaginal health?
Our pads are free of dioxides and allergens, free of chlorine and pesticides and free of perfumes and plastics, all of which are contained in conventional period products and have a variety of negative implications on vaginal health.
How do conventional period pads affect the environment?
The plastics used in conventional menstrual products are not biodegradable or compostable and will remain in the environment for hundreds of years. The production of plastic releases huge amounts of pollution into the environment. Toxic gases released contribute towards global warming and have a detrimental effect on our health.
How are Etica pads better for the environment?
Our pads are completely plastic free. Not only biodegradable but compostable too. This means your period won’t leave a negative mark on our planet.
How does Etica help fight period poverty?
We donate 5% of our profits to amazing causes to help eradicate the issues around periods and period products as well as giving away Etica pads to charities helping to eradicate period poverty in the UK. We partner with the following causes:
What is corn starch?
Corn starch is a natural carbohydrate extracted from corn. It’s a highly versatile substance which can be used to create solid structures such as the waterproof backs of our biodegradable and compostable pads.
Are your products vegan?
Yes, our products are certified vegan by the Vegan Society. They do not contain any animal products or animal derived ingredients.
What does compostable mean?
If something is compostable, it is capable of decomposing back into natural elements, typically within 3–12 months.
Do Etica products contain GMOs?
No, all of our products are GOTS and ICEA certified organic and do not contain and GMOs.
Are Etica products cruelty free?
Yes, none of our products are tested on animals.
How do I use a pad?
Remove the pad from the wrapping. Then, remove the backing strip. Position the pad on your underwear with the adhesive facing down. Finally, unfold the wings and wrap them around the side of your underwear, while holding the pad in place.
How do I use a pantyliner?
Remove the pantyliner from the wrapping. Then, remove the backing strip. Position the pantyliner on your underwear with the adhesive facing down and press it onto your underwear.

When will my subscription orders be billed?
Your first order and payment will be processed when you place the order. Any subsequent orders will be dispatched and billed 7 days before the frequency you have chosen so that you get the products when you need them.
Can I pause amend or cancel my subsciption?
Yes, you can cancel through the payment gateway and pause and edit through your account.
How do I set up subscription?
Select your products at checkout, then select Subscribe and Synchronise. We will do the rest for you.
Do I have to get a subscription to buy your products?
No, you can make one-off purchases. Just select one-off purchase at checkout.
Deliveries and Returns
Do you charge for delivery?
Yes, this will be added to your basket at checkout depending on your order and delivery address. There is no delivery charge for two or more items in the UK.
My order arrived damaged, what can I do?

Do you accept returns?
We want you to be happy with your Etica products. However due to the nature of the products, returns will only be accepted if the goods are faulty, or you received an incorrect order. Please email us within 14 days of delivery at info@eticaworld.com and we'd be happy to resolve any issues for you.
